A director, producer, and cinematographer, Ettlin has built an international career that has taken him to some of the most ambitious film and television productions of the modern era. Born in Switzerland and trained at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts<\/strong>, he began his career as a cinematographer, collaborating on music videos and commercial campaigns for artists such as David Bowie<\/strong>, Taylor Swift<\/strong>, 50 Cent<\/strong>, and Usher. <\/p>\n

His cinematography credits include films such as The Lincoln Lawyer<\/em>, Battle: Los Angeles<\/em>, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre<\/em>, Maggie<\/em>, and Fanboys<\/em>, as well as additional photography work on Transformers<\/em>. His visual talent earned recognition from Variety<\/em>, which named him one of its \u201c10 Cinematographers to Watch.\u201d <\/p>\n\n

In 2012, he began a new chapter as a television director and producer. Since then, he has contributed to some of the most significant television productions of the last decade, including Black Sails<\/em>, where he served as a producer-director, as well as series such as See<\/em>, The Old Man<\/em>, Raised by Wolves<\/em>, and For All Mankind<\/em>. <\/p>\n
