A Canadian multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creator, Walsh has established himself as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary American comics by balancing creator-owned projects with work on some of the industry\u2019s biggest franchises.<\/p>\n\n\n

He is best known as the co-creator and lead artist of Exquisite Corpses<\/strong>, the Eisner Award-nominated horror series that has quickly become one of the genre\u2019s standout titles. His recent work also includes Universal Monsters: Frankenstein<\/em>, which he both wrote and illustrated, and The Silver Coin<\/strong>, the Eisner Award-nominated anthology series that he created while also serving as writer and lead artist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over more than fifteen years in the comic book industry, Walsh has worked with many of the world\u2019s leading publishers, bringing iconic characters such as Superman<\/strong> and the heroes of the Star Wars<\/strong> universe to life while collaborating with companies including Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse, IDW, and BOOM! Studios. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His artistic talents extend beyond comics into the world of trading card games. As an illustrator for Magic: The Gathering<\/strong>, he has created artwork for more than thirty cards, contributing to one of the most celebrated fantasy universes in gaming. <\/p>\n\n\n

Never one to stay within a single medium, Walsh has recently expanded into tabletop game design. In 2026, he developed Exquisite Corpses: The Game<\/strong> and launched WAYVES CREATIVE<\/strong>, a new tabletop game studio already working on multiple upcoming projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is currently developing Season 2 of Exquisite Corpses<\/strong>, Volume 4 of The Silver Coin<\/strong>, and a new \u201cNext Level\u201d series for DC Comics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
