If you\u2019ve seen Raya and the Last Dragon, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, or KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>, you\u2019ve already experienced part of Mingjue Helen Chen\u2019s<\/strong> work. As a production designer and visual development artist, she has helped create some of the most distinctive animated worlds of the past decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in Los Angeles, Chen studied at the Academy of Art University and has worked in the animation industry since 2010. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with some of the world\u2019s leading animation studios, contributing to projects that have left a lasting mark on contemporary animation. <\/p>\n\n\n

Among her most notable achievements is her work as Production Designer on Raya and the Last Dragon<\/em> and KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>, two productions celebrated for the richness of their visual worlds and the memorable design of their characters and environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her credits also include acclaimed productions such as Tim Burton\u2019s Frankenweenie<\/em>, the Academy Award-winning short film Paperman<\/em>, Wreck-It Ralph<\/em>, Big Hero 6<\/em>, Wish Dragon<\/em>, Ralph Breaks the Internet<\/em>, and, most recently, Avatar: The Last Airbender<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

She is currently serving as Production Designer on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory<\/em>, Netflix Animation\u2019s upcoming animated adaptation of the classic story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
