When Marvel decided to completely reinvent the X-Men, it needed an artist capable of rising to the challenge. That artist was Pepe Larraz<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With House of X, the Madrid-born artist became one of the defining figures of contemporary superhero comics, helping shape the visual identity of one of the most influential eras in Marvel\u2019s recent history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Widely regarded as one of the finest superhero artists of his generation, Larraz has established himself as one of Marvel\u2019s leading talents thanks to his dynamic visual storytelling, exceptional clarity in action sequences, and unique ability to convey emotion on every page.<\/p>\n\n\n

After studying Sculpture and Art History, he began his professional career in the world of fanzines and independent publishing before making the leap to the American comics industry in 2010 with New Avengers: Luke Cage<\/strong>. From that point on, his rise at Marvel was both rapid and unstoppable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His work spans some of the publisher\u2019s most important titles, including The Avengers<\/strong>, Uncanny Avengers<\/strong>, Thor: Goddess of Thunder<\/strong>, Wolverine and the X-Men<\/strong>, and Star Wars: Kanan \u2013 The Last Padawan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, he was selected to join Marvel\u2019s prestigious Young Guns<\/strong> program, reserved for some of the industry\u2019s most promising artists. Shortly afterward came the project that would forever reshape the recent history of Marvel\u2019s mutants: House of X<\/strong>, the groundbreaking miniseries created alongside Jonathan Hickman that completely redefined the X-Men universe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, he has continued to expand his outstanding career with titles such as Big Game<\/strong>, the major crossover event from the Millarworld universe; Blood Hunt<\/strong>, Marvel\u2019s flagship event of 2024; and his return to the Spider-Man universe with The Amazing Spider-Man<\/strong> and, more recently, Ultimate Spider-Man<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
