HOW TO GET TO SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON MÁLAGA

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga will take place October 1–4, 2026, at FYCMA. During the four days of the convention, there will be special services and additional public transportation, as well as several free parking areas for attendees.

SPECIAL SHUTTLE L64

During the four days of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, the EMT's special L64 San Diego Comic-Con Málaga route will be available, providing a direct connection between downtown Málaga and FYCMA.

The route starts at Alameda Principal Norte, next to Larios Street, and runs to San Rafael - Recinto Ferial, next to FYCMA. Service begins at 7:00 a.m. and continues as long as there are people waiting at the bus stop.

The EMT will also have staff on site and will be able to expand its fleet based on demand.

The return route is not exactly the same as the outbound route. The line ends at Alameda Principal Sur, on the opposite side of the street from the departure stop at Alameda Principal Norte.

If you took the L64 on Alameda Principal to come to FYCMA, keep in mind that you'll get off at a different stop on the way back.

CITY BUSES

In addition to the special L64 SDCC Málaga line, you can get to FYCMA by taking EMT bus routes 4, 19, 20, and 22.

Line 4 · Paseo del Parque - Cruz Humilladero - Cortijo Alto
To get to FYCMA: Head toward Cortijo Alto; get off at the Max Estrella - FYCMA stop. To return: Head toward Paseo del Parque; get off at the FYCMA stop. Approximate frequency: every 12–18 minutes on Thursdays and Fridays, and every 15–22 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Line 19 · Paseo del Parque - Campanillas - Maqueda
To get to FYCMA: Take the Maqueda line to the FYCMA stop. Approximate frequency: every 20–30 minutes on Thursday and Friday, and every 30–45 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
Line 20 · Ciudad Jardín - Alameda Principal - Los Prados
To get to FYCMA: Take the Los Prados line to the FYCMA - Recinto Ferial stop. Approximate frequency: every 10–20 minutes.
Line 22 · Molière Avenue - Tiro de Pichón - University
To get to FYCMA: Head toward the University; get off at the Max Estrella - FYCMA stop. To return: Head toward Avda. de Moliere; get off at the FYCMA stop. Approximate frequency: every 20–35 minutes on Thursdays and Fridays, and every 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays. Line 22 also allows you to reach the airport by transferring from Line A at Avenida de Velázquez.

You can travel using a multi-ride or monthly bus pass, the Consorcio card, or by purchasing a single-ride ticket. You can pay for your ticket with cash, a debit or credit card, or via QR code.

Málaga's city bus service is operated by the Empresa Malagueña de Transportes (EMT)

COMMUTER TRAINS

You can also get to FYCMA by taking the C1 and C2 lines of the Málaga commuter rail system. Both lines stop at Victoria Kent, the station closest to the venue.

  • Line C1: Málaga Centro Alameda – Fuengirola.

  • Line C2: Málaga Centro Alameda – Álora.

From Victoria Kent Station, you can continue on foot to FYCMA.

FROM THE AIRPORT

Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is connected to FYCMA by commuter rail and bus.

Commuter Trains · Recommended Option

Take the C1 line toward Málaga Centro Alameda and get off at the Victoria Kent station, which is the closest to FYCMA. From there, you can walk to the venue.

Bus

Line A connects the airport to downtown Málaga, but it does not go directly through FYCMA.

To get to the venue, get off at Avenida de Velázquez and transfer to Line 22 heading toward Universidad, and get off at the Max Estrella - FYCMA stop.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION

If you arrive in Málaga by train, you have several options for getting from the María Zambrano station to FYCMA.

L64 Shuttle · Recommended Option

The special L64 Comic-Con Málaga bus line stops at Paseo de los Tilos, across from the bus station and just a few minutes' walk from María Zambrano, and takes you directly to San Rafael - Recinto Ferial, next to FYCMA.

City bus

You can also use the EMT's regular bus routes:

Line 4: toward Cortijo Alto to Max Estrella - FYCMA.
Line 19: toward Maqueda to FYCMA.
Line 20: toward Los Prados to FYCMA - Fairgrounds.

Commuter Trains

You can take the C1 line toward Fuengirola or the C2 line toward Álora and get off at Victoria Kent, the station closest to FYCMA. From there, you can walk to the venue.

BY CAR

You can reach FYCMA via the MA-20, the Málaga ring road; the MA-21, if you're coming from the airport or Torremolinos; or the A-7. All of these roads have signposted exits for the Málaga Trade Fair and Convention Center.

Please note that the usual FYCMA parking lots will not be available during San Diego Comic-Con® Málaga, as they are part of the convention grounds this year.

If you're coming by car, please use the free parking lots designated for attendees, which are listed below.

Parking for attendees

During San Diego Comic-Con Málaga , four free parking lots will be available for attendees, designated as P1, P2, P3, and P4.

All four parking lots are free, unguarded, and have no time limit for picking up your vehicle. Access will be signposted from the Feria de Málaga roundabout, south of FYCMA.

Q1

Located on the plaza along Avenida de las Malagueñas, next to the Mercadillo. It is the largest parking lot, with an area of approximately 40,800 m², and is about a 10-minute walk from the entrance.

How to Get to P1

P2

Located between the esplanade on Avenida de las Malagueñas and the MA-20, it covers an area of approximately 9,000 m² and is about a 10-minute walk from the entrance.

How to get to P2.

P3

Located across from the MA-20, next to Mahler Street. It covers an area of approximately 7,500 m² and is about a 15-minute walk from the entrance.

P4

Located across from the MA-20, on Adolfo Suárez Boulevard. It covers an area of approximately 7,500 m² and is about a 20-minute walk from the entrance.

Disabled Parking

On José Blánquez el Maño Street, between Malagueñas Avenue and Bandolá Street. Free and with no time limit. It can be used for parking and also for dropping off or picking up people with limited mobility, such as taxi passengers or bus riders.

Taxis and Ride-Hailing Services

You can also get to and from FYCMA by taxi or ride-hailing services. During San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, there will be designated pickup points to facilitate passenger pickups.

The taxi stand will be located next to the venue.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

During SDCC Málaga, you can use the Mobile Locker lockers, located to the right of the main entrance.

They're perfect for storing suitcases, shopping bags, backpacks, or extra costumes for cosplay, so you can enjoy the convention in greater comfort. Plus, many lockers include a charging port for cell phones.

You can reserve your locker in advance or rent one directly during the event, subject to availability.

Please note that availability is limited, so we recommend booking in advance. The price varies depending on the size of the locker you select and the duration of your reservation.
