GENERAL INFORMATION
San Diego Comic-Con Málaga is the first official expansion of San Diego Comic-Con® outside the United States, bringing the spirit of one of the world's most influential conventions for Popular Arts to Europe.
In 2026, it will host the second edition of the October 1–4 at FYCMA (Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Center, Spain), where fans, creators, and professionals from the worlds of comics, film, TV series, gaming, and cosplay will once again come together to celebrate the Popular Arts.
Yes. You don't have to be a comic book expert or know all the franchises to enjoy SDCC Málaga.
The convention brings together movies, TV shows, video games, cosplay, exhibits, artists, shops, and activities for a wide range of audiences.
Yes. SDCC Málaga is designed for both die-hard fans and those who simply enjoy movies, video games, illustration, or Popular Arts in general.
In addition to guests, you'll find shops, artists, panel discussions, and opportunities to discover new worlds.
You don't have to know everything to enjoy the experience.
SDCC Málaga is much more than just a comic book convention.
It brings together movies, TV shows, comics, video games, cosplay, board games, collectibles, artists, major international guests, and exclusive activities all in one place.
In addition to exploring the exhibition area, you can attend panel discussions, meet-and-greets with guests, exhibitions, hands-on activities, contests, and experiences designed to celebrate Popular Arts in all its forms.
It is a convention modeled after San Diego Comic-Con, one of the world's most renowned entertainment and Popular Arts events.
The first edition allowed us to learn a lot about how to improve the experience for SDCC Málaga attendees.
In 2026, food and drinks will be available; the exhibition space will be larger; activities will be spread throughout the venue to facilitate movement; and the schedule will be released gradually along with guest announcements so you can plan your visit well in advance.
We're continuing to work on new improvements that we'll be sharing over the next few months.
