Within the framework of the Málaga Festival, from San Diego Comic-Con® Málaga we have had the opportunity to participate in a very special initiative focused on animation and its role within the current audiovisual industry.

The activity was attended by Rodrigo Blaas, a renowned professional with an international career that includes work on iconic productions such as Ratatouille or the Star Wars universe. During the meeting, the creative processes behind animation were discussed, as well as the challenges and opportunities of a sector in constant evolution.

This collaboration reinforces San Diego Comic-Con Málaga’ s commitment to fostering creative talent and connecting industry professionals. Beyond our own convention, we continue to work to generate spaces for dialogue, inspiration and growth within the cultural and audiovisual ecosystem.

Animation, as a universal language, continues to gain weight in contemporary narrative, and being part of this type of initiative allows us to continue building bridges between the public, the industry and new generations of creators.
