Today, March 19, we celebrated the official presentation of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026, a first step that marks the beginning of a new stage for the event in Europe.

The event, presented by Claudio Serrano and Hermoti, featured a special message from David Glanzer, who wanted to show his support and enthusiasm for this second edition, highlighting the impact of the first and the potential of what is to come.

During the presentation, Fernando Piquer, general director of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, shared the main lines of this new edition. With a clear message, he reaffirmed the event’s mission: to build a fan experience for fans, thanking all the people who made the first edition possible -fans, brands, institutions and professionals-.

The 2025 edition was, in his words, an exciting and courageous milestone that demonstrated the enormous interest in an event of this kind in Europe. It also left important lessons to be learned. The organization is committed to living up to the enthusiasm of the community, working to improve and evolve in each edition.

In 2026, this commitment will translate into a significant expansion of space and content. The event will grow in surface area and capacity, including the construction of a new 9,000 m² large-format pavilion for exhibitors. In addition, the Artists’ Alley will have its own pavilion, offering more space and visibility to creators, while the Gaming Plaza will have a new location with independent access, improving the experience for those who enjoy the world of video games.

This evolution responds to a clear ambition: to elevate the experience and consolidate San Diego Comic-Con Málaga as one of the great international meeting points of pop culture.

As for ticket sales, full details will be announced soon. As a preview, it has been confirmed that those who attended the first edition will have access to an exclusive pre-sale.

This is just the beginning. In the coming months new content, guests and experiences that will be part of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 will be unveiled.
