
Behind every great animated world are artists capable of turning ideas into places audiences can truly believe in. Yingjue Linda Chen is one of those creators. An Emmy Award-winning Production Designer and Art Director, she has built a career shaping the visual identity of some of the most acclaimed animated productions of recent years.

Based in Burbank, California, her work focuses on visual development and collaborative world-building across feature films and television animation. She began her career at DreamWorks Animation, joining the team behind Trollhunters, the acclaimed series created alongside Guillermo del Toro.
Since then, she has worked with some of the industry’s leading studios, contributing to projects for Disney Animation Studios, Netflix, Warner Bros., and ShadowMachine, helping bring memorable characters and worlds to life for audiences around the globe.

Currently, Chen is serving as Art Director on an unannounced adult animated series for Netflix, continuing a career defined by creativity, collaboration, and visual storytelling.
Yingjue Linda Chen’s appearance at San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the artistic process behind modern animation and to discover firsthand the creative work that shapes some of today’s most visually striking productions. She will also be joined by her sister, Mingjue Helen Chen, an illustrator and visual artist known for her work on projects such as K-Pop Demon Hunters, bringing together two outstanding creative voices from the worlds of animation and illustration.
