In recent years, Iban Coello has established himself as one of Spain’s leading comic book artists working in the American comics industry. Based in Barcelona, his career has taken him to some of the world’s biggest publishers, illustrating stories featuring iconic characters from Marvel, DC, and the Star Wars universe.

His early work included Star Wars: Knight Errant for Dark Horse Comics, before joining DC Comics, where he illustrated series such as Superboy, Batman Beyond Universe, Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Five, and Earth 2: Society.

He later made the leap to Marvel Comics, where he has worked on titles such as *Deadpool & the Mercs for Money*, *Venom*, *The Dark Age*, and *The Fantastic Four*, demonstrating great versatility in adapting to very different characters and styles.

Today, Iban Coello is an exclusive artist for Marvel Comics, where he continues to work on some of the publisher’s flagship titles.
