Actor, photographer, filmmaker and skateboarding legend, Jason Lee has built a career that is as diverse as it is impossible to pigeonhole. In 2026, he will be attending San Diego Comic-Con Málaga as a special guest.
For many people, his face will always be linked to Earl Hickey, the protagonist of the comedy My Name is Earl, one of the most beloved series of the 2000s thanks to its irreverent humour and a character as chaotic as he is endearing.
His film career is deeply connected to the world of Kevin Smith, having appeared in films such as Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II and Jerk-Off. His performance in Chasing Amy also earned him the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Lee has also appeared in films such as Public Enemy, Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky and The Ballad of Jack and Rose, demonstrating a versatility that allows him to move between comedy, drama and independent cinema with absolute ease.
In animation and voice acting, his voice has brought to life such memorable characters as Syndrome in The Incredibles, as well as appearing in titles such as Monster House and We Bare Bears.
Beyond film and television, Jason Lee maintains a strong connection with the world of skateboarding. Before turning to acting, he was a professional skateboarder and, in 1992, co-founded Stereo Skateboards, a brand that remains a benchmark within skateboarding culture.
Furthermore, he has developed a distinguished career as a photographer, publishing several books featuring his work and establishing a highly personal artistic vision off-screen.

With a career spanning film, television, animation, photography and urban culture, Jason Lee has become a unique figure in contemporary entertainment.
He will be attending San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 on 1 and 2 October, taking part in various activities such as panels and signing sessions. During the event, he will also be joined by Kevin Smith, with whom he has shared some of the most iconic films of his career and one of the most recognisable creative collaborations in pop culture of recent decades.
