A Canadian multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creator, Walsh has established himself as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary American comics by balancing creator-owned projects with work on some of the industry’s biggest franchises.

He is best known as the co-creator and lead artist of Exquisite Corpses, the Eisner Award-nominated horror series that has quickly become one of the genre’s standout titles. His recent work also includes Universal Monsters: Frankenstein, which he both wrote and illustrated, and The Silver Coin, the Eisner Award-nominated anthology series that he created while also serving as writer and lead artist.

Over more than fifteen years in the comic book industry, Walsh has worked with many of the world’s leading publishers, bringing iconic characters such as Superman and the heroes of the Star Wars universe to life while collaborating with companies including Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse, IDW, and BOOM! Studios.

His artistic talents extend beyond comics into the world of trading card games. As an illustrator for Magic: The Gathering, he has created artwork for more than thirty cards, contributing to one of the most celebrated fantasy universes in gaming.

Never one to stay within a single medium, Walsh has recently expanded into tabletop game design. In 2026, he developed Exquisite Corpses: The Game and launched WAYVES CREATIVE, a new tabletop game studio already working on multiple upcoming projects.

He is currently developing Season 2 of Exquisite Corpses, Volume 4 of The Silver Coin, and a new “Next Level” series for DC Comics.
