If you have a collector’s spirit, the visual universe of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga is within your reach.
During the Exclusive Presale and General Sale, you’ll have the opportunity to get two unique pieces of official SDCC Málaga merchandise, an exclusive pin and lanyard, available only during the online purchase process on Ticketmaster.
Two unique pieces for a special edition
Their design is based on the animation created by Granada-born director, producer, and animator Rodrigo Blaas and art director Carlos Salgado, developed together with the team at El Guiri Studios. These illustrations bring to life the visual universe of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga, now available in physical form.
These are two items designed for those who want to take home more than just a great memory of the event.
- Exclusive SDCC Málaga 2026 pin
- Exclusive SDCC Málaga 2026 lanyard, including illustrated ribbon and a commemorative badge.

How to get them and where to pick them up
You’ll be able to add these items during the badge purchase process, both in the Exclusive Presale and the General Sale. They will not be available outside this process, which means there won’t be a second chance or a “I’ll get it later at the event.”
As a limited edition, quantities are restricted. Each person will be able to purchase:
- 1 pin
- 1 lanyard
So, in a joint purchase, you can add as many units as there are assistants in your order (up to a maximum of 2 of each product per pre-sale purchase). Both the pin and the lanyard will be priced at 11,99 € (VAT and handling fees included).
If you purchase them, you will be able to collect them later at an official pick-up point during the convention.

Important:
The commemorative badge is a collector’s item.
It is not a VIP pass and does not include any special access or additional accreditation.
About the creators
Behind these exclusive pieces are two key figures in the international animation and design scene:
Rodrigo Blaas, a director, producer, and animator from Granada, has over 30 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has contributed to some of the most influential animated films of recent decades, including Ice Age, Finding Nemo, WALL·E, Ratatouille, and The Incredibles.
He also served as showrunner of the acclaimed series Trollhunters for DreamWorks Animation and Netflix, alongside Guillermo del Toro, a project that won six Emmy Awards. More recently, he wrote and directed Sith, an original short set in the Star Wars universe as part of Visions 2, available on Disney+.
Meanwhile, Carlos Salgado has over 15 years of experience as a concept artist and designer. He has worked on film productions such as Pacific Rim, Colossal, Color Out of Space, Open Windows, and Automata, as well as directing 2D animation projects for Spanish cinema such as Gernika, Zipi y Zape and Torrente 5.
His short film Wayback earned him nominations at the Goya Awards and the Quirino Awards. More recently, he served as art director on Sith, directed by Rodrigo Blaas, a project for which he was nominated for the Annie Awards.
The SDCC Málaga universe, within your reach
San Diego Comic-Con Málaga is the first official expansion of San Diego Comic-Con outside the United States, and in this second edition, it continues to build its identity through pieces that connect directly with its creative origins. These items are more than merchandise, they are a way to be part of our universe from the very beginning.
