Illustration and literature come together in the work of Judit Mallol.
The Barcelona-based artist has turned her passion for drawing into an international career, illustrating dozens of books for publishers in Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Born in 1994, Judit has been drawing since childhood and made the decision early on to pursue art professionally. While completing her Fine Arts degree at the University of Barcelona, she briefly worked as a character designer at Ubisoft, taking her first steps into the creative industry.

Over the past nine years, she has illustrated more than 40 books, establishing herself as one of Spain’s most internationally recognized editorial illustrators.

Among her latest projects is the collector’s edition of Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean series, one of the biggest fantasy publishing phenomena of recent years.

She has also published Carousel: The Art of Judit Mallol, her first art book, featuring a selection of illustrations, personal artwork, insights into her creative process, and an original world populated by characters of her own creation.

Her most recent publication is Bookish Activity Book, a collection of activities, games, and coloring pages created for lovers of the bookish world.
